New book ‘Between Battlefield and Boardroom: Prevalent Cases from Military and Management Contexts’ presented to Commander of the Navy

A copy of the newly published book, ‘Between Battlefield and Boardroom: Prevalent Cases from Military and Management Contexts,’ co-authored by Rear Admiral Rohitha Abeysinghe (Retd) of the Sri Lanka Navy and Dr. Anuradha Iddagoda was formally presented to the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Damian Fernando at Navy Headquarters on 26 September 2026.

The book offers a timely and engaging collection of 15 case studies exploring key organisational and management issues in both business and military contexts. Its main strengths include a practical approach, strong grounding in the Sri Lankan setting, and a well-balanced integration of leadership, employee engagement, ethics, and sustainability.
