Lieutenant Commander Tharu Rajapaksha presents his new book to Navy Commander

Lieutenant Commander (Civil Engineering) Tharu Rajapaksha presented his new short story collection, ‘Hormuz & Dr. Wilson’s Detective Stories’, to the Commander of Navy, Vice Admiral Damian Fernando, at Navy Headquarters this morning, 15 September 2026.

The publication is a satirical collection of short stories centered on two Sri Lankans who establish a local detective agency inspired by world-famous fictional detectives. Vice Admiral Fernando commended the officer for his creative writing and appreciated his unique writing style.
