Sri Lanka secured the runner-up titles in both the men's and women's team events at the 6th World Carrom Championship, held in San Francisco, California, USA, from 10th to 17th November 2024.

06 වැනි ලෝක කැරම් ශූරතාවලිය 2024 නොවැම්බර් මස 10 වන දින සිට 17 වන දින දක්වා ඇමෙරිකා එක්සත් ජනපදයේ කැලිෆෝනියාවේ සැන් ෆ්‍රැන්සිස්කෝ හි දී පැවැත්වුණු අතර, ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජාතික කණ්ඩායම නියෝජනය කරනු ලබන නාවික හමුදාවේ නායක නැවි ඩබ්ඩබ්ඩීඑන් ප්‍රනාන්දු සහ නායක කාන්තා නැවි ජේ රොශිටා යන නාවිකයින් ගේ දායකත්වයෙන් තරඟාවලියේ කාන්තා සහ පිරිමි අනුශූරතාව ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට දිනාගැනීමට හැකි විය.

The Navy men’s team showcased an impressive performance, securing the runners-up position in the Eagles Cup Handball Challenge Trophy 2024, hosted by Sri Lanka Air Force for the third time. This year's edition was held from 17th to 20th November at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo.

The Sri Lanka Navy emerged victorious in the men's category and secured the runner-up position in the women's category at the 13th Defence Services Wrestling Championship. The event, organized under the patronage of the Sri Lanka Navy, was held from 20th to 22nd November 2024 at the Commander Parakrama Samaraweera Memorial Indoor Sports Complex in Welisara, showcasing exceptional skills and determination of the Navy's wrestlers.

The Sri Lanka Navy achieved impressive victories at the Mercantile/ Government Services International Rating 6th Rapid Chess Team Championship 2024. The chess championship was held at the auditorium of the Ministry of Sports on 9th and 10th November 2024.

The Sri Lanka Navy Inter-Command Swimming and Water Polo Championship took place at the SLNS Gemunu swimming pool from 5th to 8th November 2024. In a captivating showcase of aquatic skill, Afloat Command clinched victory in the men’s swimming championship, while Eastern Naval Command excelled to claim the women’s title. Eastern Naval Command further asserted its dominance in water polo, securing both the men’s and women’s championships with exceptional performances.

In a thrilling display of athleticism and teamwork, the Navy Inter-Command Basketball Tournament reached its culmination at the Commander Parakrama Samaraweera Memorial Indoor Sports Complex in Welisara, spanning from the 24th to 30th October 2024. The men’s championship of the tournament was clinched by the Eastern Naval Command, while the Western Naval Command secured the women’s championship.

The 13th Defence Services Games handball championship took place at the Panagoda Army Camp indoor stadium from 14th to 18th October 2024. The Sri Lanka Navy secured the men's title with outstanding performances throughout the tournament.

At the Thailand International Judo Championship 2024, held in Bangkok from 18th to 24th September, Woman Leading Seaman KVSD Kumarasinghe from the Sri Lanka Navy secured a bronze medal in the 70kg weight category, representing Sri Lanka.

The Inter Command Hockey Championship of Sri Lanka Navy was held at the hockey ground of SLNS Lanka in Welisara from 08th to 11th October 2024. The men's co-championship title in the tournament was shared between the Western Naval Command and the Training Command, while the women's co-championship was jointly won by the Western Naval Command and the Southern Naval Command.
