Training Command triumphs in Inter Command Musketry Championship

In a display of exceptional marksmanship, the Training Command emerged victorious at the Inter Command Musketry Championship, securing titles in both men’s and women’s categories. The event, held at the firing range of SLNS Shiksha from 05 to 08 Apr 25, saw 220 elite shooters from all naval commands battling for supremacy in the championship.

Director General Budget and Finance, Rear Admiral Manjula Dissanayake graced the prize awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest. Meanwhile, Petty Officer PP Sanjeewa of the Eastern Naval Command secured the title of Best Shooter (Men’s), while Woman Ordinary Seaman PDMAR Kumarasiri from the Training Command earned the Best Shooter (Women’s) award.
