Sri Lanka Navy clinches Defence Services Tennis Championship - 2025

Demonstrating outstanding performance and dominance on the court, the Sri Lanka Navy tennis team emerged champion at the 13th Defence Services Games – 2025. The tournament was held from 24 to 28 Mar 25 at the Sri Lanka Army Tennis Court in Narahenpita, with participation of ace tennis players from the Tri-Services.

The competition featured multiple categories including team events, open singles and doubles, as well as over-45 and over-50 age group singles and doubles.

The Navy tennis team scored a total of 39 points, surpassing the Sri Lanka Air Force (33 points) and the Sri Lanka Army (27 points) to clinch the overall title. In the process, they bagged 16 gold medals and 05 silver medals.
