Navy wins first place in men's category of triathlon at 13th Defence Services Games

The Triathlon Championship of 13th Defence Services Games - 2025 was held on 06 Mar 25, near the Tissa Wewa in Anuradhapura. In the men's category, the Navy's Leading Diver JDPP Jayasinghe, secured the first place.

The Triathlon Championship was held under two categories, men and women, with the participation of 49 athletes from the Tri-Forces. Representing the Navy, 10 male and 3 female athletes competed in the championship. The competition consisted of a 750-meter swimming event, a 20-kilometer cycling event, and a 5-kilometer road running event.

Showcasing exceptional individual prowess Leading Diver JDPP Jayasinghe, secured the first place in the men's event.
