Chief Petty Officer NAH De Silva earns best batsman title in Inter-Club First Class Limited Over Cricket Tournament

The Inter-Club First Class (Tier B) Limited Over Cricket Tournament, organized by Sri Lanka Cricket, took place from 24th September to 09th October 2024, featuring 12 sports clubs. Showcasing scintillating performances, Chief Petty Officer (Communication) NAH De Silva of the Sri Lanka Navy stood out as the tournament’s Best Batsman.

Chief Petty Officer Silva, a right-handed batsman of the Navy Sports Club, has accumulated 223 runs in the tournament, including one century, with an impressive batting average of 55.75 across five matches.

He delivered the best batting performance of the tournament, scoring 125 runs off 142 balls against the Air Force Sports Club.

The awards ceremony of the tournament was held on 09th October at the Galle International Cricket Stadium under the patronage of Mr. Dinal Thevarapperuma, committee member of the tournament.
