Commander of the Navy felicitates Leading Seaman Subasinghe for his achievement in 4th Asian Para Games in China

Leading Seaman SMASM of the Sri Lanka Navy showcased his talent by securing a bronze medal in the men’s 400 meters event in the 4th Asian Para Games held in Hangzhou, China on 28th October 2023. Inviting him to the Navy Headquarters today (12th August 2024), the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera appreciated his achievement and awarded the athlete with a cash prize.

The cash prize was awarded in recognition of his outstanding representation of the country and winning a medal in the 4th Asian Para Games in China, which brought glory to the Navy and the entire nation.

The occasion was also attended by Director General Services, Rear Admiral Priyal Withanage and a group of senior officers.
