Navy riders speed to victory in Vijayabahu Motorcross 2024

Sri Lanka Navy riders showcased their prowess in Vijayabahu Motorcross 2024 which was organized by the Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers and Riders (SLARDAR) and Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment on 31st March 2024 at the Army motor racing track in Boyagane, Kurunegala.

Three (03) Navy riders took part in this tournament, which featured fourteen (14) motorcycle events. Exhibiting their riding skills on the track, Leading Transport Assistant DMSS Kumara (4th place in Standard 125cc),(5th place in Racing 125cc Open) and (7th place in Racing 125 cc Defense Service) and Leading Physical Training Instructor EAPN Edirisinghe (1st place in Racing 125cc Open), (3rd place in Standard 250 cc) and (3rd place in Racing 125 cc Defense Service) brought credit to the Navy.

Moreover, Leading Engineering Mechanic MVWP Karunarathna became 4th in Super Mortard Race-01 and 5th in Super Mortard Race- 02.

Secretary of the Motor Cross Pool, Commander Chamara Meepawala and a group of Navy riders were also present on this occasion.
