Navy golfer Chalitha Pushpika qualifies for 37th Bangladesh Amateur Golf Tournament

The Sir Lanka Navy’s Ordinary Seaman Chalitha Pushpika has qualified to represent Sri Lanka in the Orion Group 37th Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship, to be held from 31st January to 03rd February 2024 at the Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Chalitha Pushpika demonstrated outstanding performance in the selection competition held at the Colombo Royal Golf Course on 09th and 10th January. Scoring a total of 142 points, he outperformed ten first-class golfers to qualify for the upcoming tournament.

Also, the Navy golfer has showcased his skills in numerous local and international tournaments previously.
