Navy wins Inter Organization Junior Elle Championship

The Sri Lanka Navy won the men’s championship in the Inter Organization Junior Elle Tournament, held at the Nawaloka Ground in Welisara and Seewali Ground in Polhena, Kelaniya from 21st to 24th November 2023. The tournament was organized by the Elle Federation of Sri Lanka.

The tournament was competed by 06 teams from Waththala, Kelaniya and Katana Pradeshiya Sabhas, Civil Aviation Authority, Sri Lanka Navy and Sri Lanka Air Force. The final was played between the Sri Lanka Navy and Air Force.

In the 30-ball-game, the Air Force team striking first scored 05 runs all out. In reply, the Navy team scored 06 runs in 24 balls with 08 players out and clinched the championship, without losing their winning streak in the tournament.
