Navy SC becomes runner up in Clifford Cup knockout rugby tournament

The final of Clifford Cup knockout rugby tournament was held at the Racecourse Ground, Colombo on 05th March 2023. After a tight encounter against CR & FC, the Navy Sports Club (men’s) secured the runner-up title 24-18.

For the Navy, Able Seaman TM Weerasinghe (02), Ordinary Seaman AM Samuel (03) and Able Seaman IU Kongahawatta (01) scored points by penalties.
