Navy clinch runner-up title in Speed Arrows Cycling Championship -2023

The Navy men’s cycling team won the runner-up title in Speed Arrows Cycling Championship – 2023 held in Moratuwa on 12th February 2023.

The cycling championship organised by the Speed Arrows Cycling Club was conducted under the auspices of Colombo District Cycling Association. Commenced from Justin Dias Mawatha of New Galle Road, the cyclists raced 08 laps through Modara Roundabout, Walana Junction, Sarikkamulla, Junction of Moratuwa Bridge, Fraser Avenue and back to Justin Dias Mawatha, completing 96km in total.

As the Navy men’s cycling team became the runner-up, Able Seaman PPPMG Silva of the Navy finished the race second (2nd) with a time of 02:13:14.
