Navy shines at inaugural Monsoon Cup Golf Tournament 2022

Sri Lanka Navy golfers made noteworthy performances and bagged several awards in the inaugural Monsoon Cup Golf Tournament 2022. The tournament organized by the Sri Lanka Air Force, concluded at Eagle Golf Link, China Bay in Trincomalee on 01st October 2022.

Keeping the Navy’s flag flying, Captain Mangala Mummullage emerged as the First Runner-Up in the first-ever Monsoon Defence Challenge Trophy. Meanwhile, Commodore Pradeep Karunathilaka received the award for the Nearest to the Pin.

The awards ceremony was held at the Marble Beach Air Force Resort on 01st October and it was presided by Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana.
