The Navy took hold of about 26kg and 900g of foreign-origin cannabis, during a search operation on the Delft Island, Jaffna on 14 Dec 25.

The Sri Lanka Navy seized a 1740kg haul of Kendu leaves during a search operation conducted in the seas off Chilaw on 10 Dec 25.

During an operation carried out by the Sri Lanka Navy in the Ippanthivu sea area of Kalpitiya on the night of 05 Dec 25, naval personnel intercepted a dinghy carrying three (03) sacks suspected to contain narcotics, as well as another dinghy that had arrived to assist it, with four (04) suspects.
