The Navy, during two separate operations carried out with the Police, arrested a man with controlled substance and a woman for possession of heroin in Trincomalee on 18^th and 19^th July 2020.

Navy apprehended a person who engaged in illegal fishing in the seas off Elephant Point in Trincomalee and 04 banned fishing nets casted in the Batticoloa lagoon.

SL Navy apprehended four (04) persons who engaged in cutting Mesquite trees (Kalapu Andara), during a patrol carried out in Thirukeshwaram area on 18^th July 2020.

The Navy apprehended a person with illegally harvested sea cucumber in the beach area of Arippu, Silawathura on 18^th July 2020.

The Navy apprehended 47 persons who engaged in illegal fishing in the sea area of Foul Point in Trincomalee on 17^th July 2020.
