Sri Lanka Navy, in collaboration with the Suwaseriya Ambulance Service, Firefighting Unit of Colombo harbour, Harbour Health Service and doctors from National Quarantine Unit conducted a drill at the harbour on 13^th March 2020

The Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to Sri Lanka, HE. Omar Abdul Razzak visited the Naval Headquarters on 11^th March 2020.

The St. Anthony's sacred Church on Kachchativu Island which is located in close proximity to Indo-Sri Lanka Maritime Boundary Line and owned by Sri Lanka has long been the pinnacle of reverence of both Indian and Sri Lankan Catholic devotees. Giving precedence to customary rituals, the annual feast of the St. Anthony's Church was celebrated this morning (07^th March 2020), on a successful note.

The haul of heroin and crystal methamphetamine worth approximately Rs. 6,000 million along with the suspects and fishing vessels in connection to it, seized after a successful naval operation in high seas about 600 nautical miles (1111km) away from Sri Lankan shores, were escorted to Dikovita fisheries harbour this morning (05^th March 2020).

Following the receipt of intelligence information to Police Narcotics Bureau the Navy deployed its Offshore Patrol Vessels and conducted a special operation in high seas. Accordingly Sri Lanka Navy's Offshore Patrol Vessels Samudura and Sayurala have been on a mission over a period of month as part of this mission.

Admiral Clancy Fernando Memorial Navy Cup Sailing Regatta – 2020 organized by Sri Lanka Navy in coordination with the Yachting Association of Sri Lanka which was held on the waterfront of Galle Face Green on 29^th February and 1st March came to successful conclusion, today ( 01^st March 2020).

The Provost sailors of Sri Lanka Navy have been deployed to control the traffic jam within municipal limits of the Colombo city.

The Commander of the Zambian Army Lieutenant General WM Sikazwe and the delegation, who are on an official visit to Sri Lanka, visited the Naval Headquarters in Colombo, today (24^th February 2020).

Japanese ship 'Takanami' which belongs to the Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force, arrived at the port of Colombo today (21^st February 2020) and she was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with naval traditions.
