Nigerian NDC delegation visits Navy Headquarters

A Nigerian National Defence College (NDC) delegation, comprising its student officers and directing staff, visited the Navy Headquarters in Colombo today (24th April 2023).

The delegation of NDC Abuja- Nigeria was headed by Air Commodore Osichinaka Chedu UBADIKE and it consisted of 24 members including 13 student officers and directing staff from the Course No. 31.

As part of the visit, Air Commodore Osichinaka Chedu UBADIKE, Acting Defence Advisor in New Delhi and accredited to Sri Lanka, Colonel AO Salami and directing staff members called on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera. Subsequently, the student officers of Nigerian NDC were briefed about the role and task of the Sri Lanka Navy. Meanwhile, mementoes were also exchanged between Commander of the Navy and head of the Nigerian NDC delegation, marking the importance of the occasion.

During the stay in the country, the Nigerian NDC delegation will visit some of the tourist attractions in Sri Lanka.
