Commander of the Navy visits 'Sanda Hiru Seya’ in Anuradhapura to review ongoing construction
Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne today (21st October 2021) visited 'Sanda Hiru Seya’ in the sacred city of Anuradhapura to review its ongoing construction work.
Constructed with able manpower and industrial expertise of the tri-services and Civil Security Department, the construction work of 'Sanda Hiru Seya’ is scheduled to be completed by November this year. Having inspected the Navy’s ongoing work pertinent to illumination of the main entrances, parking lots and other entrances of 'Sanda Hiru Seya’ as well as landscaping of the premises, which are in the final stage, Commander of the Navy instructed naval personnel involved in the project to accomplish designated tasks expeditiously and to perfection.
Commander North Central Naval Area, Rear Admiral Bandula Senarathna and a limited number of officers from the Navy Headquarters and North Central Naval Command were present on this occasion.
