Navy disaster-response teams recover vehicle trapped in Chettikulam floodwaters

The Navy extended timely assistance to a stranded vehicle in Chettikulam, Vavuniya, after heavy rainfall triggered flooding in the area.

On 30 Nov 25, Navy disaster-response teams promptly intervened to retrieve the flooded car and ensure the safety of its occupants along the Medawachchiya–Mannar road. The vehicle, which had become immobilized by rising waters, was subsequently recovered using a Navy vehicle.
