As part of its social responsibility projects, the Sri Lanka Navy renovated the St. Sebastian’s Church at Katunayake.

Navy Sports Club beat Army 31-13 in a Dialog "A" Division rugby league encounter, which was worked off at the Welisara Navy Grounds on 03rd January 2014.

The concluding religious ceremony in view of the Sri Lanka Navy’s 63rd Anniversary celebrations was held at the Kelaniya Rajamaha Viharaya on 31st December 2013.

Commencing the activities of the Year 2014 on an auspicious note, personnel of the Sri Lanka Navy pledged their commitment to preservation of hard-won peace and nation building.
