Sri Lanka Navy facilitated the conduct of the annual festival of the St. Anthony’s Church located on the Palaithivu Island.

As part of the Sri Lanka Navy’s community welfare and social responsibility project, the North Western Naval Command conducted two field health clinics and donated spectacles with the assistance of the State Pharmaceutical Corporation at several rural villages in the Mannar district on 06, 21 and 23 March 2014.
