In a significant push towards environmental sustainability, the Sri Lanka Navy engaged in shoreline conservation initiatives at Galle Face on 29 May 25. The programme was conducted to coincide with the National War Heroes’ commemoration.

A two-day Motivational, Leadership, and Team Building programme was successfully conducted for the Sri Lanka Navy Band personnel at SLNS Gemunu on 27 and 28 May 25, under the supervision of the Director of Music (DOM). The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda on 18 May 25 paid a visit to the Special Boat Squadron (SBS) Headquarters in Trincomalee. During his visit, he also addressed SBS personnel, emphasizing the crucial role and responsibilities of the Sri Lanka Navy.
