Navy provides essential assistance for flood-affected communities
The Sri Lanka Navy has mobilized dedicated, island-wide efforts as of 02 Dec 25 to deliver vital humanitarian aid and disaster relief to communities devastated by adverse weather. The Navy is working on full swing, focused on restoring critical infrastructure, including water supply, power systems, and roadways, while providing essential medical support, dry rations, and clean drinking water.

Sri Lanka Navy mobilizes resources to aid affected communities
In a dedicated humanitarian initiative, the Sri Lanka Navy on 02 Dec 25 mobilized resources to provide assistance to communities distressed by recent inclement weather. The relief effort includes the deployment of mobile kitchens capable of preparing large quantities of cooked meals and mobile Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants designed to produce safe drinking water.

Foreign warships arrive in Sri Lanka to take part in International Fleet Review 2025
In a display of naval cooperation, three warships representing Bangladesh and India made port calls in Colombo on 25 and 26 November, for the International Fleet Review (IFR) 2025, scheduled to be held on 30 November. The visiting ships were welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with time-honoured naval traditions.
