The Sri Lanka Navy organized a series of friendly sporting events for the ship crew of USS Blue Ridge which arrived in Sri Lanka on 26th March, to strengthen the relationship among the naval personnel of two navies.

His Excellency the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Maithripala Sirisena on visited “USS Blue Ridge”, in the port of Colombo today (28).

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Buwaneka in North Central Naval Command arrested 33 persons along with illegally caught approximately 1500 sea cucumbers, 3 fishing dhows and a FGD in the general area of Anthonipuram on 26th March 2016.
