˝A View from the International Maritime Boundary line India – Sri Lanka˝ the debut book authored by Captain Prasad Kariyapperuma was launched at the Admiral Somathilake Dissanayaka Auditorium at the Naval Headquarters on 28th April 2016.

The 26th International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) annual meeting between the representatives of Navies and Coast Guards of Sri Lanka and India was held onboard SLNS Sagara at the Indo-Sri Lanka Maritime Boundary Line off Kankasanthurai on 28th April 2016.

Assistance of Navy Divers was rendered under the leadership of LCdr (CDO) DMRE Dissanayaka to recover a body of an elderly male person drowned in the deep well today (24), widely known as bottomless well in Nilavarai, Jaffna.
