Navy clinches the overall championship in “Trinco Blu Sailing Regatta”
The Sri Lanka Navy sailing team, represented by Chief Petty Officer WAR Nishantha and Leading Seaman MGMU Gunawardana, clinched the overall championship in the “Trinco Blu Sailing Regatta” organized by the Royal Colombo Yacht Club in Trincomalee on 29th and 30th of April 2016.

Navy apprehends a haul of Kerala Cannabis in the seas off Silavathurai and Mullikulam
Naval patrol craft deployed West of Silavathurai and Mullikulam area in the Northwestern Naval Command, apprehended five Indians along with a boat who were transferring approximately 120 kg of Kerala Cannabis by sea on 4th May 2016.
