The Indian Naval Ship (INS) Mumbai arrived at the port of Colombo on a formal visit this morning (26th August 2024). The visiting ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with naval traditions.

USS O’Kane of the United States Navy which arrived at the port of Colombo on a replenishment visit on 21st August 2024, departed the island today (22nd August), after successfully completing its replenishment operations.

At the request of the Chief Ministry of the Eastern Province, Trincomalee, the Sri Lanka Navy rendered assistance to conduct First Efficiency Bar Examination for fire services within the departments of local government. The practical examination will be held from 20th to 22nd August 2024 at the Naval and Maritime Academy.
