Commander Manusanka Hewawasam today (20^th March 2020) assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Navy’s Offshore Patrol Vessel SLNS Jayasagara.

Captain Rajapriya Serasinghe assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Navy’s Advanced Offshore Patrol Vessel, SLNS ‘Sindurala’ today (20^th March 2020).

A Visit Board Search & Seizure (VBSS) Course conducted in the field of Transfer Immigrants Persons & Smuggling of Migrants (TIPSOM) for personnel of Sri Lanka Navy and Sri Lanka Coast Guard, affiliated to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Programme, was officially terminated today (20th March 2020) at the Special Boat Squadron Training School, Trincomalee.
