The Navy held approximately 147kg of Kerala cannabis in wet weight, during a special petrol conducted in the seas North of Thalaimannar, today(21^st March 2020).

SL Navy provided lunch for the poor people resided along the roadsides of Ragama, Wattala and Kandana areas, today (21^st March 2020).

As a measure of controlling the spreading of new coronavirus in the country, Sri Lanka Navy conducted a sterilization programme at the De Zoysa Maternity Hospital in Borella, today (21^st March 2020).

As a measure of controlling the spreading of new coronavirus in the country, Sri Lanka Navy conducted sterilization programmes at several public places frequently surrounded by people in Galle area on 18^th, 19^th and 20^th March 2020.

Yet another sterilization programme conducted by Sri Lanka Navy to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus in the country was held at Mundalama Police station, court premises, district hospital and prison of Puttalam on 19^th and 20^th March 2020.

The Navy apprehended 02 persons with Kerala cannabis in their possession, during a routine patrol in the sea area north of Talaimannar Lighthouse today (20^th March 2020).

As part of Sri Lanka Navy’s sterilization programmes in action to keep the coronavirus at bay, similar disinfection programmes were conducted at the Fort Railway Station and main entrances of Colombo harbour today (20^th March 2020).
