Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne and President Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne joined an occasion to open a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant built by the Navy in the village of Bakmeegahawatta, Mahawa, on10^th October 2021.

Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne, in company of the President Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne, today (09th October 2021) declared open a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant installed by the Navy in Karuwalagaswewa, Puttalam. As such, the facility was made available for community use at the Siri Sambuddha Galapitagala Temple in Rajavigama, as yet another Naval Social Responsibility initiative, sponsored by the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit.
