Navy Commander reviews operational posture at Naval Dockyard Trincomalee

In a bid to oversee operational readiness, training and welfare, the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, undertook a visit to the Naval Dockyard in Trincomalee on 23 May 26.

Accompanied by the Commander Eastern Naval Area and senior officers from the Eastern Naval Command, the Navy Chief called at the Naval and Maritime Academy, SLNS Parakramabahu, and the Eastern Command Naval Hospital.

During these visits, Navy Commander issued vital directives concerning the operational readiness, training standards, and welfare of naval personnel.
