Navy unveils new four-story administrative complex for pay and pension services
The Sri Lanka Navy marked a significant milestone in administrative efficiency with the opening of the new Navy Pay and Pension Office Complex on 17 Dec 25. The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, inaugurated the facility in a ceremony held at the Welisara Naval Complex.
The newly constructed four-story complex fulfills a long-standing operational requirement, centralizing the Navy Pension, Accounts and Audit, and Navy Pay Departments into a single facility. This strategic consolidation is designed to streamline processes and enhance service delivery for all naval personnel regarding pay and pension matters.
Construction of the project commenced in 2021 and was completed under the engineering and technical direction of the Navy's Civil Engineering Department.
