Navy Chief recognizes sacrifice of veterans at “Anchorage” Naval Care Center

In a solemn and respectful event marking the 75th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Navy, the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, paid a visit to the naval veterans at the “Anchorage” Naval Care Center in Welisara on 10 Dec 25.

During this visit, Vice Admiral Banagoda engaged with the resident naval war veterans, inquiring into their wellbeing and offering words of encouragement. Moreover, the Navy Commander instructed to adopt all possible welfare measures to caring these veterans in a gesture of the Navy’s continued gratitude and support.
