Commander embarked on courtesy visit to the BNS PROTTOY

The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, visited the Bangladesh Naval Ship (BNS) PROTTOY at the Port of Colombo on 27 Nov 25. The vessel is in Sri Lanka to participate in the International Fleet Review (IFR) 2025, a key event celebrating the Sri Lanka Navy's 75th anniversary.

The Commanding Officer of the ship CAPTAIN MD TOUHIDUL HAQUE BHUIYAN received the Navy Commander in compliance with rich naval traditions and accompanied him on an inspection of the vessel.

During the visit, the Commander of the Navy expressed gratitude for Bangladesh's contribution to the IFR 2025, emphasizing the shared commitment of regional navies to "Sailing Strong - Together.”
