Trio of Indian Naval Ships depart island after replenishment

Three (03) Landing Craft Utility (LCU) ships from the Indian Navy, which arrived in Colombo for replenishment purpose, departed the island on 25 Nov 25. The Sri Lanka Navy bade a customary farewell to the departing ship at the Port of Colombo, following naval traditions.

Meanwhile, the Commanding Officers of the visiting LCU ships, also called on the Commander Western Naval Area, at the Western Naval Command Headquarters.

During their stay in Sri Lanka, the Indian naval personnel visited local tourist attractions and participated in a series of interactions organised by the Sri Lanka Navy, fostering mutual cooperation. Personnel from the Sri Lanka Navy also had the opportunity to visit the Indian naval ships in Colombo.
