Indian National Defence College delegation calls on Commander of the Navy

An Indian National Defence College (NDC) delegation currently in Sri Lanka as part of their study tour, called on the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda at the Navy Headquarters on 01 Sep 25.

The delegation, headed by Major General Pawanpal Singh, comprised student officers and directing staff of the NDC. During the visit, they engaged in a cordial discussion with the Commander of the Navy, followed by the exchange of mementoes to signify the importance of the occasion.

The visiting delegation was also provided with a comprehensive briefing on the vital role and responsibilities performed by the Sri Lanka Navy. Director General Training, Rear Admiral Dammika Wijewardana, Director General Operations, Rear Admiral Harsha De Silva and Defence Advisor at the Indian High Commission in Colombo, Captain M. Anand were also in attendance during this event.
