The Sri Lanka Navy today (28 Aug 25) bade farewell to Rear Admiral Chandima Silva as he relinquished his duties to which he was committed over the past 33 years in the Sri Lanka Navy.

Rear Admiral Jagath Kumara assumed duties as Commander Western Naval Area at the Western Naval Command Headquarters on 27 Aug 25.

United States Ship (USS) Tulsa (LCS 16) arrived at the Port of Colombo on a replenishment visit on 27 Aug 25. The Sri Lanka Navy welcomed the visiting ship in compliance with naval traditions.
