VNF senior sailors charting course to fluency with English Camp

The English Camp Pilot Project – 01/2025, held at the Volunteer Naval Force (VNF) Headquarters in Welisara for senior sailors of the Volunteer Naval Force, came to a successful end on 30 May 25. The closing event was presided over by the Commandant Volunteer Naval Force, Rear Admiral HNS Perera.

This two-week intensive language training initiative had been designed to bolster the English language skills, particularly speaking abilities of VNF senior sailors. It featured a dynamic curriculum encompassing interactive sessions and practical exercises.

A total of 20 senior sailors participated in the programme, engaging in a variety of activities aimed at building confidence and fluency in communication.
