Community gains access to clean water through RO plant at Karavilagala Ananda Sambodhi Viharaya, Anuradhapura
A Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant, built as part of the Naval Social Responsibility (NSR) Project by the Navy's Research and Development Unit was declared open at Karavilagala Ananda Sambodhi Viharaya in Palagala, Anuradhapura on 27 May 25.
The project, carried out with industrial expertise of the Research and Development Unit, marked the 1,099th unit delivered under the NSR Project. Financial support for this worthwhile project was made possible by the Presidential Secretariat. This RO plant has a daily purification capacity of about 10,000 liters, providing safe drinking water to the people in the locality of Karavilagala.
