Surgeon Commodore (Dental) IWAPD Palipana, Professor in Restorative Dentistry and Visiting Consultant at the Directorate of Dental Services, Sri Lanka Navy officially assumed duties as the Dean of the Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura on 08 Apr 25.

Professor Palipana is also an active member of the Sri Lanka College of Military Medicine.
