Speech Craft Workshop unleashes oratory skills of naval officers

The Naval Research Wing turned up the volume on public speaking and honed the analytical skills of naval officers with a Speech Craft Workshop. Organized at the Wave n’ Lake Naval Banquet Hall on 28 Mar 25, the conduct of the event was facilitated by Kelaniya Toastmasters Club.

Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, 23 officers from Naval Commands and Sri Lanka Coast Guard, who obtained the membership of the Speech Craft Club, made an opportunity to refine their abilities in speech delivery, critical analysis, and effective communication in this workshop.

This initiative underscored the Navy’s commitment to continuous professional development of officers, ensuring they are well-prepared for leadership roles in diverse operational and strategic environments.
