DSCSC Course No 19 visits Western Naval Command

A Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) delegation headed by the Commandant, Major General Shantha Hewage on 17 Mar 25 embarked on a visit to the Western Naval Command, as part of an academic event of DSCSC Course No 19.

The 190-member delegation from DSCSC Sapugaskanda, comprised directing staff and both local and international course participants. Upon their arrival, they were greeted with a warm welcome by the Navy.

Meanwhile, several programmes were conducted to educate course participants on the operational and strategic significance of the Western Naval Command and guided visits to SLN ships and craft had also been arranged.

Signifying the importance of this occasion, mementoes were exchanged between Commandant DSCSC and Commander Western Naval Area.
