Rear Admiral Princely Liyanage (Retd) aims for double Guinness glory
Rear Admiral Princely Liyanage (Retd) began his remarkable challenge today (08 Mar 25) at 1500 hrs, starting from the Navy Headquarters. Under the supervision of the Serendib World Records, the official body for world record certifications, he aims to achieve two Guinness World Records by completing a continuous 24-hour walk on a manual treadmill.
Rear Admiral Liyanage (Retd) aims to achieve two new Guinness World Records by surpassing the existing benchmarks. His first goal is to break the current record of walking 68.04 km in 12 hours on a manual treadmill, while his second target is to walk an impressive 160 kilometers within a 24-hour period.
