Indonesian Naval Ship KRI DIPONEGORO – 365 departs island
The Indonesian Naval Ship KRI DIPONEGORO – 365, which arrived in Sri Lanka on 04 Feb 25 for replenishment, departed the island today (05 Feb). The Sri Lanka Navy bade customary farewell to the departing ship at the Port of Colombo, following naval traditions.
Meanwhile, the Commanding Officer of the ship, Commander WIRASTYO HAPRABU called on the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Chandima Silva at the Western Naval Command Headquarters and Director General Operations, Rear Admiral Buddhika Liyanagamage at the Navy Headquarters today. During the stay in Sri Lanka, crew members of the ship visited some popular tourist destinations within Colombo city.
