Marking 74 years of service, Navy hosts blood donation campaign in Northwestern Naval Command

To commemorate the Sri Lanka Navy's 74th Anniversary, a blood donation drive was held at the Command Naval Hospital in Northwestern Naval Area on 06th December 2024.

As part of the celebrations scheduled for 09th December, the Navy has prioritized community service and religious activities.

Organized under the guidance of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera, and the supervision of Commander Northwestern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Varuna Ferdinandusz, the initiative reflected the Navy’s commitment to social responsibility.

The event witnessed participation, with 83 personnel from the Northwestern Naval Command donating blood to support this life saving effort.
