Officers of Higher Defence Management Course, India visit Navy Headquarters

p class="text-justify"> A group of officers and directing staff members from the Indian Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC) who are on a study tour to Sri Lanka, visited the Navy Headquarters today (15th October 2024). The HDMC delegation was headed by Colonel Kedar D Gupte. On behalf of the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera, the visiting officers were welcomed by the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Kanchana Banagoda.

During the ensuing meeting, Colonel Kedar D Gupte and Rear Admiral Kanchana Banagoda held cordial discussions on several matters of general concern. The official interaction drew to a close with an exchange of mementoes.

Moreover, the Deputy Chief of Staff and Director General Operations, Rear Admiral Nishantha Peiris provided a concise overview of the Navy's responsibilities to the HDMC delegation.
