Commander of the Navy pays courtesy call on Hon. President

The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera paid a courtesy call on Honourable Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the President and Commander - in - Chief of the Armed Forces of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka at the Presidential Secretariat today (04th October 2024).

During this maiden courtesy call, which has been a traditional military practice, the Commander of the Navy and Honourable President exchanged views on Navy’s significant role in national security and its related efforts.

Marking the significance of this occasion, the Commander of the Navy presented a memento to the Honourable President.
