Navy receives sponsorship for medical grade RO plant to be installed at National Hospital

Sanken Overseas Pvt Ltd handed over a cheque to the Sri Lanka Navy on 19th September 2024 for the installation of a medical grade RO plant at the National Hospital, Colombo. The cheque was presented to the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera, at Navy Headquarters. This project, part of the Naval Social Responsibility initiative, will be carried out using the Navy’s manpower and industrial expertise.

In response to a request from the Director of the National Hospital, Colombo, the Navy sought support, and Sanken Overseas Pvt Ltd stepped forward to provide financial assistance. This contribution was made following an appeal by the Commander of the Navy.

Senior Coordinator (Naval Social Responsibility), Commander Buddhika Randimal, Mr. Mevan Gunathilake, Managing Director of Sanken Overseas Pvt Ltd and Dr. Pradeep Rathnasekara, Deputy Director of Colombo National Hospital were also present on the occasion.
