Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Embassy of France meets with Commander of the Navy
The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Embassy of France in Colombo, H.E. Marie-Noëlle Duris met with the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera at the Navy Headquarters today (19th September 2024). The purpose of the visit was to introduce the newly appointed French Director of studies of the Regional Center for Maritime Studies, Lieutenant Commander Carine BUZAUD.
Both H.E. Marie-Noëlle Duris and Lieutenant Commander Carine BUZAUD received a warm welcome upon their arrival at the Navy Headquarters. Subsequently, they exchanged several matters of bilateral importance with Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera.
Director General Operations, Rear Admiral Nishantha Peiris, Naval Assistant to the Commander of the Navy, Rear Admiral Kosala Warnakulasooriya, Director General Training, Rear Admiral Buddhika Liyanagamage, senior officers from the Navy Headquarters and Maritime Security Adviser at the Embassy of France in Colombo, Commander Jean-Baptise TROUCHE were also present on this occasion.
The cordial discussion drew to a close with an exchange of mementoes.
