Nursing students of Naval Nurses’ Training School receive diplomas

The diploma awarding of Navy and Air Force nursing students from 2021 and 2022 intakes of Naval Nurses’ Training School, SLNS Thakshila, affiliated to General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), was held at the auditorium of University Hospital KDU, Werahera on 04th September 2024.

The diploma certificates were awarded by the Vice Chancellor of KDU, Rear Admiral HGUD Kumara (Retd) and former Director General Health Services of the Army, Major General PAC Fernando.

The occasion was also attended by Director General Health Services of the Navy, Rear Admiral Janaka Marambe, Director General Training, Rear Admiral Buddhika Liyanagamage, senior officers from the tri-services, and senior and junior lecturers in Allied Health Faculties of KDU.
